Inner Child Playdate

Join us virtually on Wednesday, April 23rd from 7:00-8:30pm for your Inner Child Playdate!

The world feels awfully overwhelming right now, and that can result in being pulled even further away from our sense of curiosity, creativity, and play. Some of us have been operating in overwhelm for so long that we’re not even sure we have these qualities anymore.

Our day to day lives - the roles, the demands, the hustle - leave too little room for cultivating these vital sources of resilience. We need dedicated time to step into reconnection with ourselves.

We are so thrilled to host a virtual workshop with the renowned artist and coach, Nasmieh B.E. this April. She will be leading us in practices to access our creativity that will be restorative in the moment, as well as leave us with tools we can take into our daily lives.

Yes, this is especially for people who don’t consider themselves “creative” and who have a hard time finding play. If you think this probably isn’t for you, it probably is.

This playful, uplifting, joy-filled workshop is designed to reconnect you to your inner sense of wonder and play. Through experiential exercises, creative work, and invitations for movement and art, you will shed your worries and tap into your inner artist - leaving you feeling refreshed, present, and uplifted.

Proceeds from this workshop will benefit Women Helping Women, which leads the way on preventing gender-based violence, and we are collecting a suggested donation of $20. If you are unable to afford the workshop and know you would benefit, you are still very welcome to attend.

Within a few days of registering, you will receive a confirmation email including the virtual link to attend the session as well as a payment link for your donation. (We send this manually so do not worry if you don’t receive an email right away. You’re in!)

Our last workshop filled up within just a couple of days, so register now if you’d like to take part!

Now What?: Moving from Overwhelm to Action

Sunday, March 16th from 3:00-5:00pm

It’s not in your head. Things are falling apart in our country. That dismantling is leaving many of us feeling disoriented, grief-stricken, and alienated.

Those feelings threaten to pull us into despair and complacency, which we frankly can’t afford right now.

But they could also be invitations into things we in fact desperately need right now –

Deeper regulation practices
A rebuilding of community
Connection to meaningful action

As we at Galia witness the painful feelings happening in our community - and feel them ourselves - we have been sitting with the question of what we can do. We are still in that imagining, but we want to start with what we’ve always known is most powerful - bringing women together in safety and connection. Helping women rediscover their power, even in seemingly insurmountable circumstances.

Join us for Now What?: Moving from Overwhelm to Action.

In this community gathering, we’ll facilitate a grounding practice, teach some tools for how to think about the time we’re in, offer a creative practice, and facilitate community discussion on navigating right now.

This event is free, with a suggested donation of $15 to The Lotus Therapy Fund. To make the donation, please Venmo @galiacollaborative.

For event safety and to ensure we have enough space and snacks, please register below.

This event is full, but feel free to join the waitlist and we'll notify you if a spot opens up!
