When the Unexpected Happens: Business Continuity for Small Mental Health Practices

Free Virtual Community Session

Friday, April 24th, 12:00-1:00pm EST

Running a practice means wearing a lot of hats, and when something unexpected happens, it can quickly disrupt client care and daily operations. In this practical, down-to-earth session, you’ll build a simple continuity plan using three approachable areas: process, systems, and people.

You’ll walk away able to:

  • Set up a clear process for how client records and responsibilities would be handled if you’re unexpectedly unavailable
  • Organize your systems so critical info (insurance details, payroll/banking access, vendor contacts, key documents) is easy to find when it matters
  • Strengthen your people plan by making sure day-to-day admin tasks (scheduling, billing, intake) aren’t dependent on just one person
  • Choose one improvement to implement in the next 14 days to reduce stress and increase capacity

Seats are limited so we can keep it engaging, answer real questions, and tailor examples to the group.

Galia Collaborative (March 2025)
Shelf Care Book Club

Shelf Care is a community gathering space for curious, thoughtful women who love books—and the conversations they spark. Hosted by the clinicians of Galia Collaborative, this in-person book club invites you to explore stories that resonate with your life, your relationships, and your growth.

Each session centers on a thoughtfully selected book—ranging from memoirs and self-help to fiction and narrative nonfiction—that opens a window into the human experience. Whether you're diving deep into your emotional world, gaining fresh perspective on identity or relationships, or simply looking for connection through meaningful conversation, Shelf Care offers a space to reflect, connect, and grow.
