Even couples who communicate well in other areas can find themselves avoiding financial conversations — or having the same frustrating ones again and again.
Love & Money is a practical, relationship-centered virtual workshop designed to help couples create a more collaborative approach to their financial lives. Led by Rebecca Freking, IMFT, this one-hour session explores money through the lens of the Fair Play Method, a framework for creating greater clarity, equity, and shared responsibility in relationships. Together, we'll look at how couples can move beyond recurring arguments or avoidance and toward open communication, shared decision-making, and a financial life that reflects what matters to both partners.
You'll leave with
- Strategies for making sure both partners have a meaningful voice in financial decisions
- Practical approaches for navigating differences in spending, saving, and financial priorities
- An introduction to the Fair Play Method, with specific ideas for applying its principles to your financial life as a couple
No prior experience with Fair Play is needed. Whether you’re already familiar with the framework or encountering it for the first time, the workshop will offer practical tools you can begin using right away.
Couples are encouraged to attend together, but individual partners are also warmly welcome. We encourage attending live. All who register will also receive access to the recording afterward.
